Andrew Briggs, of counsel to the firm, is a graduate of Rutgers University and the Villanova University School of Law. At JSDC, Andrew represents physicians and hospitals in cases in which medical negligence is alleged.
Andrew H. Briggs, has twenty five years of experience handling complex civil litigation with a concentration in professional malpractice and general liability. Mr. Briggs has successfully represented physicians in cases involving obstetrics/gynecology, orthopedics, anesthesia, emergency medicine, cardiovascular surgery and family practice. He has also effectively defended psychiatrists and chiropractors. Mr. Briggs has extensive experience representing hospitals and nursing homes with respect to claims of nursing negligence, corporate negligence and premises liability. He also provides risk management service to hospitals and has presented seminars for hospital staff and personnel. Mr. Briggs has successfully tried a number of cases in Federal Court and in counties throughout the Commonwealth. He is a lecturer at Pennsylvania Bar Institute Seminars.
