Scott A. Dietterick

Scott Dietterick, the firm’s managing partner, is a 1986 graduate of The Pennsylvania State University. He earned his Juris Doctor degree in 1989 from the Dickinson School of Law of the Pennsylvania State University. In addition to his management responsibilities, Scott is also the practice leader for the Real Estate and Banking, Workout and Foreclosure groups. He is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania state courts and the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Pennsylvania.

Scott’s major areas of concentration are business transactions, commercial litigation and creditor’s rights, including bankruptcy, foreclosure, REO, title litigation, municipal liens, real estate and business acquisitions.  His mortgage and commercial banking practice covers every county of Pennsylvania and all PA District Courts. His clients include several national title companies and numerous national, regional and local mortgage companies, financial institutions and investment groups. He has focused in creditor’s rights for more than twenty-five years and has also worked as a legal consultant for troubled institutions in dealings with the FDIC and former RTC.

Scott has lectured and written on the subjects of foreclosure practice, deficiency judgments, title issues and municipal liens
