Susan M. Kadel is a graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and earned her Juris Doctor degree from Duquesne University School of Law. Susan is admitted to practice before all Pennsylvania State and Federal Courts.

Before entering private practice in 1987, Susan served a two-year clerkship with The Honorable Patrick R. Tamilia of the Superior Court of Pennsylvania. In addition to the statewide appellate experience afforded by that position, she also served as delegate to the Pennsylvania Bar Association. Susan is a former board member of the Lancaster County Bar Association and a graduate of the Leadership Lancaster program. She was appointed by the Lancaster County Judiciary both as a member of the Family Law Committee and as a Custody Conciliator.

Family Law has been Susan’s primary focus for over 30 years. She continues to gain immense satisfaction in assisting her clients navigate the difficult and emotional road in a family dissolution. She is committed to advocacy for her clients in a compassionate manner with a common-sense approach.
